About Rogue Gun

Ben has been shooting as Rogue Gun for over 10 years. He played a number of sports in his 'younger days' and is passionate about sport and capturing sporting awesome. Ben has extensive experience across a wide range of sports and is honoured to be part of so many sporting endeavours in Queensland.

Nicci brings six years experience in portrait, landscape and formal event photography and had 'dabbled' in sports photography. She loves the candid moments and the emotion sport brings. She adds the flair and design to Rogue Gun.

We firmly believe that no one should miss out on having their moment caught on camera and having those moments available for years to come.

We are very proud of our work with Volleyball Australia, covering a number of their key events over the past few years. We are honoured to be the official photographer for Volleyball Australia and of our partnerships with Kelvin Grove State College Sporting Excellence Programs, South Brisbane Wolves Volleyball Club, QUT Student Engagement and Sport, Brisbane Volleyball Club, Rebound Volleyball Queensland, Redlands Volleyball Association, Harristown State High School Sporting Excellence Programs, Pine Hills Football Club, St Johns Anglican College and as Volleyball Queensland's media partner.

Over the past few years, we have also had the great pleasure of working with a number of Queensland schools capturing awesome moments, their participation and achievements across a number of events within the State. Thank you - Aldridge SHS, Benowa SHS, Burnside SHS, Caloundra SHS, Faith Lutheran College, Mt St Michaels College, Redlands College, Shailer Park SHS, Stretton State College and Westside Christian College. 

Our aim is to continue our work with organisations, ensuring quality event coverage and providing great value for money.  We also work directly with athletes and their families to capture what is important to them - stills and video as mementos, for social media, to attract or promote sponsors, for scholarship applications etc

By developing networks and partnerships with different organisations our images and videos capture the fun, inclusion and achievements of teams and individuals. This material is used to promote events, increase publicity and influence growth of sport in Queensland.

One of our photos was selected as a finalist of the 2022 Women in Sport Photo Action Awards - #WISPAA. Nicci's photo of beach volleyball athlete, Caitlin's intense defensive reach at Mollymook selected as one of the best images portraying strength, determination & athleticism. 

While the main team is just us, we have a great network of photographers we call together for those bigger events. Rogue Gun Photographers are available for commercial and editorial work within Queensland and throughout Australia.... actually, we will travel just about anywhere to capture what's important to you!
